I took five shotguns with me the second week of moose hunting 2021.    This model 88 Mossberg 12 ga I bought when Katherine was pregnant with our first child, Grayson.  It was to be his.  We lost Grayson Loblein Gibbs August 21st, 2016 a couple months before he was to be born.  He never took a breath and I was never able to hunt with him but I did hold him and let the sun shine on his face for awhile.     This gun will always be his.  I am making memories with it and  I hope he sees me doing it.  One day I will pass it on for one of his brothers or sisters to make memories of their own with it.
