August 9, 10 & 11, 2023 I took a trip north with my my son, Andrew Gibbs, and Jon Higgins to zone one for the purpose of of setting out trail cams for the upcoming moose season.    We walked a distance down one winter road a bit north of depot lake and the further we went the wetter it got.  I told the boys that there was no sense in all of us getting our feet soaked, that I would wait where I was and I would catch them on the way back.  I told them I was going to look for a sheds on the portion of dryer ground.    There were also tons of blueberries and bear scat where I chose to wait and I was hungry.   I ate a handful of berries and took a leak.   I didn’t walk more than 30 feet after saying that and there was this shed.   Odd how coincidental that was.   I still got my feet soaked but was a good day.     We camped along the St John River at the Priestly Camp Site.    Also along on the trip was Jared Hughes and his father Glenn.   Combined   we sat out 45 trail cams over that day and then next.
