I took this deer on 11-07-2016 on a 42 acre lot in Monroe Maine we own while hunting with my son and CEO of Gametiks, Brody Gibbs.   I knew this was not a trophy but it was day I had to hunt with one of my kids and one that would always be remember because this deer provided us the chance.     We had been exploring our properties and this particular area Brody had not set foot on before, nor had I in some time.   We found some deer and decided to set up here later in the day.    It was beautiful day and the comfortable pine needle covered knoll I was sitting on provided the perfect setting.   A knoll so comfortable in the afternoon sun I started to doze off.  While entertaining my self carving my loves initials "KAT" in a tree, this fella walked out.     He offered a shot and I took it.  We now refer to this as the KAT stand.
