When I shot this deer I was with my older brother Allen. I was so tired so most of the time I was playing on my phone. I was watching a pineapple video on Pinterest and I paused it for a sec so I could look around outside the hut. When I looked up I saw a doe run across the trail. I told my brother and he said that is why you need to pay attention. A couple seconds later we saw like 5 or 6 does moving pretty fast through the wood a minute or two later there was a buck that was running towards us and it was about 10 yards away. I was so cold that I was shaking and I told my brother I was too cold to shoot it and he looked at me and saw that I was shaking. So he held the gun to make it stop shaking and he said shoot it when your ready the I shot it. I was 13!

We went pheasant hunting in Maine with a guide and his dogs.  One was named Rusty and I can’t remember the other ones name.  The dogs found the birds and we had to be in front of the guide and dog before we could shoot and the birds had to be up in the air.  By the end of the day I had shot a couple of pheasants with my brand new 20 gauge shotgun. My mom was proud of me!

My brother Allen took me out to go hunting and when we were walking in to the tree stand we saw a deer and it was to far away for me to shot so my brother shot it and with out gutting it we went into the tree stand and a hour or two later we saw a doe and a buck. And then asked me which one I wanted to shot and I said with ever one is bigger. He told me the buck was bigger and a I was cold but he told me to get my gun ready and he bleated and I shot it at 100 yard. Then It kicked and ran into the woods. We followed the blood trail to it and I found out it was a crotch horn and that I had shot it straight In the heart. Then my brother gutted it and he almost cut off his finger because I was talking to much. That is the story of my first deer! And I was 11!
