Nice eating bull!!! Shot it with my awesome papa Howard Whitney, occupied by my uncle Paul Whitney and my aunt Kat Whitney. We had the greatest time and it was a awesome hunt to have, zone 1 has some beautiful country im telling you what!!!! 308 and 30-06 was used.

He came out late just as i said i wanted to go in my papa said the buck would come around this time, so i waited. Just as i was loosing some visibility this 8 point comes out right in the deer trail we have out stand over. I dropped him in his tracks and dragged him up to our deer camp that is in sight of our deer camp luckily. Great times good people.

It was the last day and i was really worried because this turkey was all i need for my grandslam. We drove up to the farm we hunt smd they told us there was 2 turkeys behind a dirt pile. I snuck up within 10 feet of it and it rsn for the woods, i took my shot and caught it just as it entered the woods at about 10 yards. Nice mature hen and the 2020 GRANDSLAM is complete!!!

She came in about 40 minutes before shooting time at 5:20 in the morning. me and my uncle Paul sat there listening to her smack her teeth eating the nuts and bait out of the barrel until it was time to shoot at 6. I then got my gun out the window to which i noticed she was laying on the complete other side of the barrel giving me no shot, i watched her for about 10 mins through my scope when she started walking away to leave. I followed her as she went up the trail until she turned very slightly and gave me a barely quartering away shot. I fired and hit her in both lungs right behind the forward shoulder. We found her about 15-20 yards away in sight of the barrel.

You just need a turkey for your grand slam buddy
