It's rare where I live now in NC. Growing up in NH and Maine I'm used to dressing the deer and weighing them, but down here when most people tell you the weight of their deer it's the live weight.

NC 7.5 yr old 8 pt. Had 3 yrs of chasing him before sealing the deal in 2025. He had two fighting wounds in his rear end that were infected.
