What I remember the most about this hunt is that I watched 2 does feeding in the raspberries in a small chopping for about a half hour. I had decided I wasn’t going to shoot. Somehow when they started to walk off I got weak and ended up changing my mind at the last minute. But what I remember even more was that my son Cody and husband John came to help me get her out of the woods. We were using a metal game carrier and somehow John jammed Cody’s finger in the carrier. We had to make a trip to the ER for a broken finger. This picture was taken the following day.
