In 2010 I had a bonus doe tag. First thing in the morning, 3 deer came walking my way. I shot a small doe and the others didn’t allow me another shot. I texted my husband who was sitting in another stand nearby. We decided I would just wait in my stand until he finished his set and then he would come and help me. Less than 15 minutes passed and way down in a clearing in front of me, I saw another one. I thought it was another doe. It was what I considered a long shot for me, but I fired and dropped it. To my surprise it was a little buck.
