I was hunting in brewer expanded and I went In across the road from where i was hunting and i jumped up a big buck. I estimated it at about 30 yards. He was in grass that was so high all I saw was rack an neck so I could see where about his body was. I crouched down in the grass and moved my pin to 30. I drew back and turned towards him then I stood up put the pin where I thought it needed to be an shot. I heard it hit an he made a noise when it hit him so I knew I hit him good! I let him lay and went to the car. 2 guys she showed up 30 mins later. They told me that one of them shot aa deer at 6am mile threw the woods. We saw the buck at 10 yards an I couldnt get shot before he ran. Then we got on him again an i shot him again. We were about 10 feet from him and he charged me. He put 3 holes in my right arm an lugged me 20 feet threw the woods! The guy that shot it at 6am knew he didnt have a fatal shot when he saw his flesh wound. I center punched it in the heart! All the grass slowed my arrow down so it just cut into the heart about half inch! It was 12point full velvet 167lbs dressed! My biggest rack buck! He wasnt hurt to bad by the guy that grazed it. He cut threw the hide an little the meat and that was all. The buck had big blood clot in the wound. They had tracked the buck with dogs an jumped it up an it was fine. The dog left if that says anything.
