On this day after a long year of bow hunting and having missed one I was looking forward to rifle season. It was a long month with only see 2 or 3 deer this year that were well out of range I was feeling like what I up with this year. My grandson Jackson call me on Monday and said papa i want to come over Wednesday afternoon and hunt with you i said you got it i love to hunt with my grandkids. So he said i want to be in the blind by 2:00 so we were I asked him what seat he wanted he said he wanted my seat well I say you got it . All the deer I've seen were on that side this years .well at 3:45 I was looking down on my side and this deer came flying out of the woods two jumps and he was 10 feet from the wood line I shot once and he stopped and look down then looked right at us I said Jackson turn around and shoot him Jack said I don't have time he's leaving so a shot again and he dropped right there in his tracks. Well to ours surprise we didn't know how big he was until we got down to him. I'm so happy to have had this experience with my grandson Jackson I can't wait until next year. O ya by the way this is the biggest deer I have ever shot in 45 years of hunting
