Hunter knight 

Identified a nice mid point to still hunt between two solid runs in either direction. Heavily wooded area so I was hunting with my 300 blackout pistol with iron sights. Logged off work at 5PM and headed into the woods immediately. Got to my spot and was just getting settled when this buck started coming along the lower run. First time hunting with iron sights on an AR pistol, placed the first shot on the heart. Deer trotted off at a decent pace after first shot, so fired a second shot in case the first was a miss. Second shot was a head shot. After second shot, he dropped in his tracks. Both shots were a hit. First two minute hunt of my life.
