First day of crossbow season- before school me and dad went out. This 7 pointer was broadside, I double lunged him with my crossbow. We let him set for about 30 min and started tracking and he wasn't very far from where I shot him.
We have learned that when you hunt with crossbow, if you allow 15-30 mins before tracking they end up not going far. If you push them they can run a ways. 
This is one step closer to my GRAND SLAM!
