Isaiah did it again. Can’t thank our good friend Steve Morse for allowing Isaiah to sit on his plot. This was the last evening of the Maine 2022 Riffle season , our buddy knew that Isaiah had a doe permit left and offered up his blind and food plot up. He asked if we could harvest the lighter colored doe in the group. We were in the blind for just over a hr before the first deer showed up. It was a doe with twins …. We watched them feed from the furthest corner of the field and work across towards us. I was watching them and checked the upper back corner and there she was feeding. We had to adjust our shooting pod and seating arrangement. We got everything settled and he picked her up in the scope , told him to take his time and squeeze the trigger. He made a nice shot that put this nanny right down. He has found the confidence and cannot wait till next year.

Tanner was busy playing baseball this spring , that he didn’t get his spring turkey. We’ll I thought ohhh this will be easy to get a fall bird . Wrong ………
