I saw this buck late October with no broken points and had a old friend dad give me permission to go hunt this buck. Well the day before I got him I seen that he had gotten in a fight and broke his G4 off and a kicker. Didn’t matter to me he was gonna taste delicious if I was lucky enough to get him. Day after thanksgiving I drove over to see if I could see him. I found him and he was down in the bottom of a creek chasing does around. I almost got a shot at 15 yards but he didn’t want to stand still for me. He ended up stopping at 62 yards unfortunately my range finder was having some issues and said 52 yards and then 62 yards. So I went with the first reading and shot under him. He ran up the hill a short ways and started back towards the does. He stopped broadside at 75.5 yards and I drilled him he ran about 75-80 yards and expired. One of my biggest bucks to date. It was awesome my dad and brother came and helped me load him and got him to the house to show my daughters before there party.
