So after not having a rifle tag for about 5 years my hunting partner and I decided to burn our points and go after so big antelope. We scouted all summer and we found the two bucks we were gonna target. one we called wing man cause he was super wide and the other we called wow cause that was the first words out of our mouths when we saw him. So we went out looking for them opening morning and found both goats and they had crossed the road. so after about an hour of tracking the landowner down. We were back after them. as we got back to the wow buck there was two trucks pulled over and getting ready to shoot from the road. we pulled up and had to yell at them before pulling the trigger. there reasoning was no one is gonna care if we shoot that antelope. after sending them on there way we made a stock and boom my partner missed this buck luckily had no idea where the shot came from. him and the herd ran up the hill and stopped at 300 yards and down he went. Next we moved onto wingman and we go one hill passed him and get ready and as we are walking off I realized that I left the keys in the truck. So we walk back and start the process of trying to break in and wouldn't you know it the alarm goes off. lol we finally got in and shut that off and got the keys. we went to see if he was still therefor hopes weren't high but to our surprise he was still laying there. We sneak up to about 270 yards and put the shooting sticks down and wait for him to stand up. after about 20 minutes he stands up and I shoot and he falls right back down. we were done by 11 a.m. that morning another great hunt.
