It was a tuff year for me this year . Seems like I was always either getting disturbed by someone on my food plot or if I wasn't there someone else was getting deer there. I passed one small buck up on Thanksgiving week. Figured I wasn't going to get one this year. I got up yesterday and the weather was crap so I decided I was not going to drive 50 miles to work so I took the day off . I went to my stand (1/2 mile from home) got there at 6:50 got set and then looked up and there was a deer . Pulled the trigger at 7:05. I did catch a glimpse of antler but I thought it was the smaller buck i saw a week or so ago . I was pleasantly surprised when I found this deer. Well i stretched the season out again but always sad to see it end.
