I got home late last night, I have been out of service. Sorry about all the grammar and spelling mistakes. I haven’t thanked anyone publicly yet. I wanted to wait till the hunt was over. At 1:23pm Tuesday September 28th 2021, Bull moose down. 860 pounds and 44” spread. This is doesn’t seem real. Trying to write this and find the correct words wasn’t easy, let alone keep tears out of my eyes. I want to first thank Rob Oso for donating the Moose tag to me. Words can’t describe how thankful and grateful I am for you giving me this moose tag. You giving me this tag gave me the Reboot of a life time. I will make sure you get some moose meat. I want to thank all of Operation ReBoot OutDoors. I want to personally thank Daniel Waite, Jesse, Abraham J Bradeen, and Virginia P. Parker for stepping up big time and taken this hunt on last minute. I can’t thank you all enough for all the sacrifices you all made to make this happen.  Over 2 years ago before Reboot, I was in an extremely dark place with no purpose to keep going. To the point that if Operation Reboot Outdoors never found me, I could truly say I would of been one of the 22. From the moment I pulled into Reboot for my first bear hunt, I truly felt like family. No one gave up on me or judged me. They all helped me leaving my struggles behind. They all helped me find life and a purpose. I learned that the brother/sister hood was still there outside the military. What made this hunt beyond special was during bear and deer season 2 years ago, Dan would literally pick me up and put me in his truck and carry me over 200 yards on his shoulder into the woods so I could hunt. He wouldn’t even think twice. Sorry I’m tearing up writing this. Being able to go on this hunt was a roller coaster of great emotions for me.  Being able to WALK miles in the woods with no help each day was just one of the high lights. This hunt was more then just a hunt because since being able to walk again, I truly was able to Experience every aspect of the hunt. I can not thank operation reboot outdoors enough for everything they have done every me and every Veteran, Active Service members and LEOs out there. I’m beyond proud to be able to stand along side with all of Reboot nation and help lower the 22 a day. Please in the comments Thank all of operation Reboot outdoors for what they do so they can feel the love. Specifically thank Rob for choosing me to give the moose tag because of him I got a Reboot of a life time. I been reading all the comments and post on Facebook about my moose hunt bring tears of joy to my eyes.
