A happy client guided by MRO guide Brody Gibbs this morning.  A story of when everything goes wrong but it comes out right in the end.  The first shot was a miss and then the clients gun jammed.   The turkey  ran about 30 yards,  stopped, and  then started strutting again.     The client finally got his gun unjammed, loaded another round and dropped the bird.  When they went out to retrieve it they heard another turkey gobble, a couple hundred yards away.   And then again much closer.  They quickly got back into their makeshift blind and the other Tom, now  the bigger of the two,  came charging into the decoy.  The client pulled up and Click.  The gun misfire.  While trying to reload it, the forearm broke off the gun.  The turkey started mating with the decoy for a few minutes and they finally was able to slide the forearm brackets  forward and he got another round  in the gun.  He dropped  this turkey as well.   It all worked out in the end and it’s a hell of a story.   The second  tom weighed 21 1/2 pounds.
