I shot this doe on one of the islands in Penobscot bay. Earlier in the sit I was busted by 4 does that came in behind me to about 20 yards but I did not see them until they were running away. I thought for sure at this point my night was over but didn’t completely lose hope. About 10 minutes before dark I looked behind me and 2 more does had mad their way in. I had a shot at about 45 yards but decided not to shoot because I always miss at 45 yards... I waited until this doe was at about 20 yards. I the. Shot it with my bow and went about 50 yards.
