I got out of work at 4 am this morning and when out hunting right when I came home. I didn’t get to sleep until 930 in the morning. I woke up at 130 pm and got right up to hunt. I was walking In to the same spot I sh out my 217 lb 8 point in 2017 and made it in there around 215 or so. I brought in a set of antlers to try rattling. Right when I sat down on a stump I rattled for about 30 seconds and then did a couple grunts. I then started using my phone. Not 5 minutes went by when I heard a grunt. I looked up and was surprised to see this buck walking right into me. It came to about 10 yards when I shot. The hunt was approximately 15 minutes long and my first time successfully rattling in a buck. Andrew and Dad showed up to help drag and take photos.
