Oscar Fish from the Everglades. While meg and I were on our honey moon in Florida we stayed at two different rental houses. One was in west palm beach and the other was on Cape Coral. When we were traveling from one side of the state to he other we took route 41 through the Everglades. Dad mentioned before we left that we needed to take the Loop Road. I stopped at almost every bridge on this road to fish and everyone of them were loaded with garfish and gators. It was almost hard to fish because every time the lure hit the water alligators would come in from almost every direction to investigate the splash. I only caught this one fish which I did not know the identity of until a ran into a local man down the rod originally from Cuba. The man told me what the fish was and also explained to me his run in with Bigfoot in the Everglades. I did not get the man’s name. This hopefully will not be my last drive through the Everglades.
